Oyo NSCDC seals illegal lubricant manufacturing company; parades 2 suspects.

Two suspects have been arrested by Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad and the Oyo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in connection with production of adulterated Automated Transmission Fluid (ATF) popularly known as lubricants.
The suspects, Patrick Umeakuana Male, 57 from Anambra State who is the owner and the production Manager, Adegoke Sunday, Male 41 were apprehended at the production site with over 2,500 litres adulterated ATF, One plastic container of suspected Adulterated grease oil, metal drums used for storage.
This is contained in a press statement circulated by Oyo CDPRO, Oyindamola Okuneye.
Parading the suspects at the production site in Gbekuba Iddo Local Government Area of Oyo State, Dr Michael Akintayo Adaralewa Oyo State Commandant, gave the name of the HVN LINK PETROLEUM PRODUCT LIMITED producing illegal lubricating oil and grease.
According to the State Commandant, all the impounded items would be taken to the relevant agency for elaborate laboratory analysis even as he vowed that the two arrested suspects and their accomplices now at large, will be charged to a competent court of law within the jurisdiction after the conclusion of the investigation.
He promised the citizens of the state and Nigerians at large that the conclusion of the investigation would expose other criminals involved in these act and that it would serve as a deterrent to other mischievous elements in the society.
“We urge Nigerians to be vigilant of the kind of lubricant and other fluid they use in their vehicles and production machines, ” he advise
