Oyo NSCDC nabs robber terrorising Tipper garage area in Ibadan  


…Adaralewa charges citizens against mob action on suspects
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo cmand has arrested a 27 year old Damilare Oyinloye, male for allegedly terrorising Tipper garage along Akala expressway Ibadan for stealing.
The suspect who is a native of Okeho in Oyo State, was paraded by the state NSCDC commandant, CC Adaralewa Michael on Wednesday.
In a statement by DSC Oyindamola Okuneye, CDPRO, the suspect has been terrorising the area since 2019 according to his confessional statemen
Okuneye added that the suspect also confessed that he was first arrested in 2019 by security operative for murder.
The statement stated that the Commandant stressed that Damilare was recently arrested at a building at the back of Taska filling station after burgling into the premises before he was apprehended by the people in the building
He was said to have confessed that he had been to the building to rob occupants of the building of their valuables like phones, jewelries and bags containing money.
He added that it took the intervention of Operation Burst in the area to rescue him from being lynched by mobs.
“The suspect attested to the crime and made a confessional statement that he had been to the house and had once murdered an innocent soul before because of phone.
“The State Commandant, CC Adaralewa Michael commended the good people of Oyo State for prompt information given to the Command in other to serve them better and warned the citizens to desist from jungle justice as it hinders the Security work of getting more information from the suspect.
He stayed that the suspect will be charged to Court after the end of the investigation.
