The new Controller of Immigration in Oyo State, Comptroller M T Umar, on Wednesday, paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) at Agodi in Ibadan

The immigration boss sought the cooperation of the officers bad men of the Corps for more collaboration that will enhance capacity to checkmate the influx of illegal immigrants into the country through the borders.
Commending the efforts of the NSCDC in the previous joint operations, Comptroller Umar commended the officers and men if the corps for their cooperation and display of professionalism.

In his response, the State NSCDC, Dr, Adaralewa Michael Akintayo reiterated his command’s commitment in supporting the NIS to meeting it’s statutory mandates.
Commandant Adarelewa stated further that the two agencies of federal government have a security task to perform for the national security and protection of lives and property of the citizens of the State.
