Encomiums as Mrs Victoria Uwanogho celebrates 75th birthday in grand style

....traditional rulers, children describe celebrant as disciplinarian, virtuous woman.

The 75th birthday celebration of Mrs Victoria Uwanogho on 20th January, 2024, was a gathering of the high and the mighty in the society.

The birthday celebration which was attended by both the immediate and extended family members, also attracted dignitaries from all walks of life.

Among those present at the event include; the Ezendigbo of Ijegun and ljedodo,Eze Dr C.C.Nwokedi, Chairman Council of Ndi Ezes Lagos state, Eze Ambassador Nicholas Emenike Njoku, Ezendigbo of Ejigbo and Chairman of Ndieze of lmo state extraction, baales and chiefs, both retired ND serving Police officers who are friends of the host as well as military officers were seen in attendance in honour of the celebrant.

Speaking with Journalists, the eldest son of the celebrant, Chief James Uwanogho, stated that his mother, Madam Victoria, deserves to be honoured for her motherly role in bringing up capable children who have done well in life.

He revealed that this year’s event for the celebrant was put together by her children, all of whom were present at the celebration as he describes Mama as a disciplinarian, a wonderful woman, and a lovely mother to her children and husband.

“My mom brought her nine children up as Christian, which has moulded our lives positively, she ensured that she trained all her children in a godly manner, making sure that we received the right direction. I wish her long life,good health and happiness, on behalf of my siblings,” he submitted.

High Chief Sunny Uwanogho, who is the second son of the Uwanogho family described his mum as an astute wife, a quintessential woman, a very accommodating woman, and an exceptional and cerebral mother who displayed uncommon loyalty and dedication to the welfare and development of her family.

Otunba as he is fondly called, noted that her mum was a disciplinarian who obliged her children and those in her care to have a godly upbringing transversed into yielding results, seemingly grooming them to be successful in life.

“Mama is a supportive mother who brought her income even as she took care of the family proving so early the ability of women to multitask and be more than equal partners in their households,as there can be nothing more fulfilling in life than to see your children and we the children succeeded because Mrs Victoria Uwanogho has done spectacularly,” he added.

In the same vein, the last son to Mrs Uwanogho, Comrade ThankGod Uwanogho, opined that he would use Proverbs 31 to describe his mum, noting that she showed him a number of great values in life saying he appreciated God specially for her exemplary lifestyle, hard work, strength, honesty and dedication to humanity. “You will spend many more years in time to come”, he prayed.

Lending their voices, the Ezendigbo of Ijegun/ljedodo community,Eze Dr C.C. Nwokedi applauded eulogy in praise of Grandma Victoria Uwanogho stating that the essence of celebrating the old folks while they are alive is a sense of appreciation and honour well deserved to corroborate a parent’s selfless sacrifice.

Eze Okpoko 1 went further to advises all present to care for their parents, give them all the happiness they need while alive, not throw big parties after death when they are unconscious of your efforts of honour, while Congratulating the celebrant, praying that she will live long to enjoy more fruit of her labor.

Eze Ambassador Nicholas Emenike Njoku acknowledge Otunba Sunny Uwanogho and his siblings for putting up such an event, while acknowledging God’s faithfulness upon the life of Mrs Uwanogho who he described as a virtuous woman who taught her children the right way to life.

Eze Njoku,who is also the Chairman Council of Ndieze of lmo state extraction opined that mama did all this whilst putting her skills to work to become and remain an elegant, determined and disciplined woman and this reflected in the lives of the children,while praying that God will continue to grant her many more years of peace, joy, good health, blessings and prosperity.

Mrs Victoria Uwanogho while expressing her gratitude to God almighty for adding another year to her life, while thanking all those who came to celebrate with her,most especially her children who took the pain in ensuring that she never lack anything.

She prayed that God almighty will continue to keep and protect her children and grandchildren
Assorted gifts were presented to the celebrant who also cut the Birthday cake and danced to thunderous ovations during the reception when his son virtually stole the show as she chanted the ancestral panegyric of her people to the admiration of all.
