Lagos Central endorse Tinubu, Eshinlokun for second term as Senator doles out educational, empowerment materials to constituents

In a massive show of political solidarity and support, the Lagos Central Senatorial District has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Wasiu Eshinlokun Sanni for second terms in office at Onikan Stadium where the event was hosted.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was endorsed for second term as President of the country as Senator Eshinlokun Sanni was endorsed for second term as Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
The endorsement took place during the 11th Town Hall Meeting hosted by Senator Sanni, themed “Investing in Education, Community Welfare, and Future Leadership.”
The event drew high-profile dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and various leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Highlighting his scorecard since assuming office in June, 2023, Senator Sanni announced significant interventions aimed at easing the financial burden on families within his constituency:
Over one million books were distributed to students across junior and secondary schools to foster literacy and academic excellence as well as to support tertiary institutions students, the Senator provided ₦100,000 grants each to students currently enrolled in tertiary institutions.
Beyond education, the Senator emphasized his commitment to community welfare through direct financial interventions. During the assembly, it was revealed that 2,000 beneficiaries across the local government districts received ₦100,000 each to support their livelihoods and small businesses.
The Case for “Renewed Hope”
Addressing the gathered stakeholders, Senator Sanni framed the endorsement of President Tinubu as a “statement of confidence” in the current administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.
He cited critical national reforms, such as the removal of the fuel subsidy and exchange rate unification, as essential steps that have increased revenue for state and local governments.
“This theme captures the essence of our journey, our commitment to building a future where every child is educated, every community is supported, and every young person is empowered to lead,” Sanni stated.
The meeting also served as a platform for future-looking political endorsements. Senator Sanni expressed his full support for Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as the successor to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, signaling a unified front for the APC in Lagos State.He then admonish those that haven’t gotten their voters card to get it in other to cast their vote during the election.
The event concluded with a call to action for constituents to remain steadfast in their support of the party’s leadership at both the state and federal levels to ensure the continued delivery of democratic dividends.
