World NSCDC Day: Adaralewa emphasises need for IT, Risk Assessment as key components of governance structure
The Oyo state command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Wednesday, March 1, joined it’s global counterparts to celebrate International Civil Defence Organisation Day.
The commands Commandant, Adaralewa Michael described 5his tyear’s celebration as a concept that seeks to alert us on the need to harness the dynamics and evolution in Information technology in prevention or mitigation of any occurrence that may have negative impact on lives and property.
The command’s Public Relations Officer,.DSC, Oyindamola Okuneye stated this in a release on Wednesday
According to the release, Adaralewa further emphasized the need to incorporate Information technology (IT) and Risk assessment as key components into the processes and Governance structure of any organization.
He called on the good people of OYO State, corporate organisations and the Governmental institutions to key into the rapid advancement in Information technology in achieving safety and protection against potential threats at all times.
The State Commandant congratulates the Commandant – General Dr. Abubakar Audi Ofr, mni and the entire management and staff of the Corps on the occasion of the 2023 International Civil Defence day and prayed for grace to witness many more years of celebration.
