SIFAX Group on Thursday, organised Thanksgiving and praise night in Lagos as a means of appreciation for what God has done in the conglomerate in the outgoing year.
Resplendent with array of star gospel artistes, who took turn to electrify the stage at the event tagged: I Will Rejoice at Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja.
While welcoming the guests, the Group Chairman, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi described the event as a night of grace
His words, “We are here to dance to the glory of the Almighty God. I want to seize this opportunity to welcome our business associates, friends, families and more importantly, our fathers in the Lord.
“Last year, we decided to start the maiden edition of this programme in order to appreciate God over the conglomerate and how God has been helping us, it can only be God, and it has been God all the way” he said
On the celebration, he called on the guests and staff to enjoy the moment even as he nudged them to put in their dancing shoes.
“Bring out your dancing shoes because we want to dance, we want to appreciate the name of the Lord. By next year, I believe everyone of you would come back and share your testimony of tonight” he said
After an opening prayer by Pastor Taiye Olayemi of Ever Increasing Ministry, a brief exhortation was given by the lead pastor of the Trinity House Church, Lagos, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.
The Masters of Ceremony for the night, popular Instagram sensation, Woli Agba and MC Ajele steered the ship of the praise night while opening performance was done by Abodede Akande, followed by Titilayo Eyinjujesu.
This was quickly followed by electrifying performance by Pastor Chigozie Wisdom, while Daminator Dance Group also cheered the audience.
The night was however charged to a crescendo with performance by Adeyinka Alaseyori, Beejay Sax, and Bidemi Olaoba, while Laolu Gbenjo closed the concert.
The night was filled with an uplifting atmosphere, soulful melodies, heartfelt prayers, and vibrant expressions of gratitude for the milestones and blessings of the year.
The Sifax Group thanksgiving night was graced by the Taiwo Afolabi dynasty, employees, friends and families.
Other dignitaries who attended includes; Apapa Customs Comptroller Babatunde Olomu, his Tin Can Island Command counterpart, Compt Dera Nnadi, and the PTML Command Comptroller, Compt Tenny Daniyan, Mrs Folake George, Chief Remi Ogungbemi among others.
