The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has renamed the Redemption Camp

The General Overseer of the church popularly called Daddy GO said the camp would henceforth be called Redemption City.
The camp which is located on kilometre 45, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, opened in 1983 and has since expanded to over 2,500 hectares, 8s owned by RCCG Mission with certificate of Occupancy number 23876 issued by the Ogun State Government of Nigeria on 4th August, 1998.
The camp contains several halls, hostels, houses, among other facilities
Pastor Adeboye hinted that about retirement of pastors who have reached 70 years of age.
Explaining, Daddy GO said that the Redemption Camp will henceforth carry the tag of a City just like the Vatican City in Rome.
The Ring Road in the Camp has also been named after the founder of the church, Pastor Josiah Akindayomi.
