As the year 2023 runs out and Nigerians and the rest of the world await the year 2024, Pastor Tessy Chika Nwokedi of Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry in Ijegun, Lagos has given the assurance that the year 2024, will witness grace and that mercy will always speak in every situation of their lives.
She stated this during the annual thanksgiving service of the ministry, noting that the year 2023 might have come with so many challenges, obstacles but God has always risen in every situation especially when they call him.
Pastor Tessy urged Nigerians to serve God through total commitment and thanksgiving, stating that everyone had one reason or the other to appreciate God by thanking him despite the economic hardship in the country.
“Thanksgiving should be done with a joyful heart, dancing and with substance to show appreciation to God for his goodness over us. The year 2023 that is coming to an end might have come with one challenge or the other but l want to assure you that in 2024, mercy and grace will speak for all of us,” she submitted.
In his sermon, Apostle Dr Paul Chime who was the Guest Minister, stated the need to express gratitude to God almighty is paramount due to his mercies, grace and protection upon mankind.
According to him, every individual has every right to praise the name of the Lord because He has done greater things in our lives despite the hiccups and challenges we face presently.
Apostle Chime, who took his scripture from the book of Psalm 100 :1-5 stated that with singing, dancing and substance to God, Almighty will pave way for his mercies and grace to speak for us in 2024,as God will always bless his own.
While commending Eze Ambassador C.C Nwokedi for always knowing that God is supreme in the affairs of people despite the fact he is a king.
Eze Dr. Chika Nwokedi, Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun/Ijedodo in his magnitude took members of his family, cabinet members, friends and well wishers to this year thanksgiving to thank God almighty for his grace and protection upon his life and that his family and cabinet members.
Speaking to newsmen,the Chairman Council of Ndieze Lagos state stated that for the past 10 years on every last Sunday of November, he usually thank God for keeping him and his family alive, by showing gratitude to God almighty.
The Eze Okpoko 1 of Owerre Obodoukwu noted that God has been faithful to him and his family as his secret of success had been trust in God and kindness to humanity over the years.
“The year 2023 has been a wonderful year to me and my family despite the hurdles being faced and for this reason, as I have always been doing over 10years now, i decided to thank God for His faithfulness, protection, mercy and grace over my life by touching lives, giving succour to the needy and also lifting me up to the position as Chairman Council of Ndieze
“This is part of me and it is a covenant between l and God that if He blesses me, i will in turn bless those in need especially the widows, less privilege, sick people and those in dire need, I have no limitations in giving, be it religion, ethnic and otherwise. I will continue to touch lives until l die,” he submitted.
The Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun/ljedodo, in his way of showing gratitude to God Almighty presented a cow and other gift items to thank God for His mercies and grace, also gave a widow Mrs Rosemary Ndubuisi from Owerri North some food items and the sum of 100,000 to set up a business while assuring her that she and her children will not lack anything.
Highpoint of the event was cutting of the thanksgiving cake, presentation of gift items and entertainment of guests at his Palace.
