The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola on Thursday met with teams from KPMG and Nigeria’s leading private sector think-tank
The meeting according to the minister, is in commitment of the ministry to achieving its mandate.
Oyetola maintained that such move would enable the ministry under him to harvest ideas and explore innovative strategies to harness the immense potential of Nigeria’s marine resources and also to contribute to the nation’s economic diversification.
“In furtherance of our commitment to achieving the mandate of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, I, earlier today, met with teams from KPMG and Nigeria’s leading private sector think-tank, the Nigeria Economic Summit Group, to harvest ideas and explore innovative strategies to harness the immense potential of Nigeria’s marine resources and contribute to the nation’s economic diversification.
“I’m convinced that productive engagements like this will assist the Ministry in fulfilling the purpose for which it was created by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
