Otunba Akpoyibo Organises End-Of-The-Year Party to Remember
...Calls for peace and harmony among lgbos.

The 2023 End of The Year party organized by High Chief Sunny Akpoyibo Uwanogho will remain evergreen in the memory of the widows, less privileged, children, teenagers, the elderly, associates, friends and well wishers who were treated to sumptuous meals, good music and gift packages to mark the Christmas period.
An elated Chief Akpoyibo hardly sat for a moment throughout the duration of the event held in his domain at lkotun, He moved from one end to the other, welcoming guests on arrival, and ensuring that those already seated were promptly and well attended to, as the event witnessed a large turnout of widows, less privileged and children coming together to have a great time together with High Chief Akpoyibo and family.
No doubt, 2023 End of The Year celebration was unique compared to the previous years, because many lives were touched, giving a whole lot of people a sense of belonging.
Highlife music played on the background, while guests chatted as they ate and drank. It was not a day of speech making, but of wining, dining and much of photography.
Almost everyone present, including the President General of Igbo Speaking Community High Chief Sunday Eze, Chief Mrs Perpetual Ugai (Ada di oroma), Barrister Abel lwarah, Comrade ThankGod kupah (Edo State NANS Chairman), Sir Patrick Anede, members of the lgbo, Yoruba and Delta speaking communities had a wonderful time.
Akpoyibo who is the Otunba of Alimosho, said he was happy and thanked his guest for gracing the occasion, stating that as part of giving back to the society,he decided to organize this end of the year/Christmas party which according to him, is celebrated every year.
He promised to positively impact the society especially the widows,less privilege and those in dire need and assist them financially.
.”I want to express my gratitude to God almighty for his mercies, love, protection over my life and family for giving me the grace to continue achieving my yearly gift to the less privileged, widows and children especially those writing WAEC. This is my hobby,l feel excited whenever i assist my brother/ sister in need because that is what the bible said.
“I celebrate Christmas every year with widows,less privilege, children, friends and well wishers just to give them a sense of belonging and l am happy with this,” he submitted.
The Ugo Nwanne of Ndigbo appealled to the lgbo speaking community in Lagos to embrace peace at all times because it is a virtue of development, stating that those that are bent in trying to dent the image of the lgbo speaking community should desist from doing so or be ready to face him come 2024.
He opined that High Chief Sunday Eze is the only recognized President General of the Igbo Speaking Community and any other person should refrain from parading himself as one, while underscoring the need for Ndigbo in Lagos state to promote peace and harmony so as attract more dividends from the state government.
The President General of lgbo speaking community High Chief Sunday Eze, thanked Otunba Akpoyibo for his selfless contribution to the growth of Ndigbo in Lagos,not minding the fact that he is from Urhobo of Delta state.
Chief Eze described Otunba as a man that is detribalized and one who loves giving to the society especially to the downtrodden, while urging him not to relent in giving alms to the needy.
Highlight of the event was distribution of food items to the less privilege, widows and cash gifts to SS 3 students in order for them to register their Senior School Certificate Examination next year.
