The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Hon. Emmanuel Jime and Bornu State governor, Prof. Babangana Zulum on Saturday, met to discuss possibility of establishing a dry port in the state.

The meeting which held at the governor’s office, is aimed to progress on discussion of establishing a Legacy Inland Dry Port in the state.

Recall that the NSC has established dry inland ports in some parts of the country which include; Kaduna, Jos, Ibadan, among others.

Executive Secretary/CEO, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Rt. Hon Emmanuel Jime meets with Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum to progress discussions on the establishment of one of the legacy Inland Dry Ports in the State. The meeting took place on Saturday the 24th of June, 2023 at the governor’s office in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
