The statement reads:”The attention of COMTUA has been drawn to a letter with above heading written by Chief Remi Ogungbemi and posted on social media, ignoring it was an option but we choose to, just to assist in records.
“A letter of this importance can ONLY be signed by THE NATIONAL PRESIDENT of such association.
“The Date is also important. Chief Remi Ogungbemi is not the only AMATO member and he can not determine everything for the association.
“The Association has several members amongst COMTUA’s BOT, EXECUTIVE and MANAGEMENT TEAM members.
“The association AMATO has since inception been and has never opted out of the collaboration.
“AMATO has contributed immensely and benefitted greatly from the collaboration.
It is no longer a news that AMATO is factionalised due to Chief Remi Ogungbemi’s acts of running the association like a personal property. Why should he claim to be president of the association for almost 20 years when the constitution permits only 8 years. THE MOU OF COMTUA has the signature of AMATO.
“I hope the misrepresentation is resolved. I advice any members to approach the court if a breach is suspected.
