The Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM) has commended the President General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Adewale Adeyanju for his exemplary leadership roles which had led to transformation of the union in recent times.
The leadership of NAMM led by the President, Captain Tajudeen Alao lauded the PG for his dynamic leadership qualities, facilitating the peaceful resolution of a longstanding dispute of twenty -three (23) years between the faction loyal to the pioneer President -General, of MWUN, Comrade Uzoije Ukaummunna and the succeeding leadership of the Union.
In a press statement by Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Head of Media, MWUN, the Master Mariners President added that with the united front, a lot will be achieved for all the maritime workforce.
He prayed for the MWUN President -General for God’s guidance, and more wisdom and knowledge, which will continue to strengthen him to surmounting all challenges in his good office.
