The Tincan Island Port chapter of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has congratulated the 110 newly promoted Customs officers at the command.
The Association also lauded the Controller of the command, Comptroller Dera Nnadi for his innovative strides at the command
In his goodwill message at the decoration of the officers at the command on Tuesday, ANLCA Executive Chieftain ,Mr.Ojo Peter Akintoye who represented the association, expressed happiness at the promotion of officers.
He pointed out the he was particularly gladdened that the command recorded the highest number of promoted officers as nine Comptrollers, 16, Deputy Comptrollers and 21 Assistant Comptrollers emerged from the command alone.
Akintoye who is an Executive in Tincan chapter, promised that members of the group would cooperate with the Service at the command to achieve their objectives.
According to the ANLCA chieftain, members would help the command to achieve its revenue target for the year
He however admonished the officers to use their offices to create friendship for future sake.
The freight agent told the promoted officers not to see their new ranks as opportunity to show their power but as means of making friends with stakeholders because of days after service.
The Customs broker further affirmed that:”I am delighted that the command has the highest number of promoted officers.
“I congratulate the officers and advise that you create avenue that will enable you to see tomorrow from today so that after all things, we will be able to merry together again.
“May the Lord see you to the end,” he prayed for the officers.
Also in attendance was the patron of the association, Prince Taye Oyeniyi; Tincan Chapter Public Relations Officer, Onome Monije.
Oyeniyi joined in the decoration of the the promoted officers at the command.
