New Air force boss in Oyo State visits NSCDC headquarters, promises synergy to curb insecurity

 

The newly deployed Air Commodore of NAF67 in Oyo state, Air Commodore Adeyemi George Akinyimika, on Wednesday, stated his resolve to build on the existing synergy with sister security agencies for protection of lives and property of the people of the state.

The new Air force boss stated this during a courtesy visit to Oyo command of the Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The Air Commodore also called on the rank and file officers to see themselves as one and stop the rivalry but to jointly defend the integrity of the country.

“I want us to build on the existing synergy to move the country higher in terms of security of lives and property of the citizens of Oyo state”, that was the statement of the New Air Commodore NAF 671 station today during the courtesy visit to the command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyo state Command.

In a statement by CDPRO, Oyindamola Okuneye, the Air Commodore commended the officers and men of the NSCDC for the show of professionalism displayed whenever they were called on joint task force with the military and enjoined them to continue on that level.

In his response the state commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps NSCDC Dr. Michael Adaralewa enjoined all other sister agencies to always see themselves as one big family to be able to nip crime in the bud.

Meanwhile, CC Adaralewa used the medium to welcome the new service commander to the pace setter state even as he wished him a successful tenure in his duty as head of Air Force in Oyo state.
