Merchant Navy Officers welcome Dantsoho as MD of NPA, urge him to revamp agency for effective operations

Nigeria Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) has welcomed the newly appointed Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)

Describing him as the man that the cap fits, the National President Comrade Bob Joseph Yousuo said that the union expressed full confidence and trust in his leadership.

In a statement by the Secretary of the association, Aleakhue John Okpono, Yousuo, who doubles as ITF African Seafarers Chairman, urged him to revamp and reorganize the NPA for modern days effective port operations that meet international best practice.

“The season Seafarer who doubled as ITF African Seafarers Chair and NMNOWTSSA president through his Secretary General, Comrade ALEAKHUE JOHN OKPONO on Tuesday expressed full confidence and trust in Dr Dantsoho, saying “he is the man the CAP fits” with his years of service as a technocratic with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)

“Chief Bob is hopeful that in line with the NEW HOPE AGENDA of President BAT, that Dr Dantsoho with his antecedents and as the new MD/CEO will revamp and reorganize the NPA for modern days effective port operations that meet international best practice.

“He concluded by wishing him the best luck, God’s Guidance and unalloyed support from NMNOWTSSA as he pilots the affairs of NPA as the new MD/CEO.
