The National President, executives and members of the Nigeria Merchant Navy Officers & Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) have expressed condolences to the family of Awonuga in Ogun State over the demise of their mother, late Mrs Sekinat Atinuke Awonuga
The late octogenarian who was aged 86 Years, was the mother of Captain Awonuga Saliu Adetayo who is the Chairman, Shipping Zonal Council of NMNOWTSSA
In a condolence message by the union, late Mrs Awonuga passed unto glory on the 15th of November, 2024.
The leadership of the union expressed condolences to Captain Awonuga, his lived ones and members of the family
The deceased has been buried according to Muslim rites in her hometown, Ago Iwoye in Ogun State
“SHE PASSED ONTO GLORY ON THE 15th November 2024 at the late hours of about 4:40pm .Late Mrs. Sekinat Atinuke Awonuga aged 86 Years and died in her home town
“Ago Iwoye, Ogun State And she has been buried according to Islamic rites on the 17th November 2024. May her soul rest in peace of Allah amii.
“The leadership of NMNOWTSSA expressed her condolences to Capt Awonuga, loved ones, friends and well-wishers and other members of the family .
May mama find solace in the sight of Allah amii.”
