Merchant Navy congratulates Tinubu, urges him to promote national interest.

The National President of Nigeria Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNO&WTSSA) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to run an all inclusive government poised to promote national interest .

The National President of he Trade Union Congress affiliate, Engr. Bob Joseph Yousuo in a congratulating letter to the president, wished President Tinubu administration success saying his victory at the February polls was divine.

Yousou further advised President Tinubu to build his team on the ability to deliver and merit.

Yousou also wants the new government to focus on maritime sector as it’s potentials,which according to him, if well harness can be of huge contribution to the Nation Gross Domestic Product GDP.

Expressing optimism in the new administration , the seasoned seafarers leader added that” As the 16th president of the federal republic of Nigeria and having governed Lagos state successful for 2 tenures, it’s our believe that BAT has what it takes to lead Nigeria to the promised land i.e Nigeria of our dream.

” At this time of our history when the nation economy is at the verge of collapse, we need people like BAT to rescue the nation.

“We as a seafaring union believe in your potentials and request to run your goverment with technocrats of unquestionable characters and reduce cost of governance.

“The task of governance is a very serious one hence the need to be fair and just to all Nigerians. Make “NIGERIA FIRST ” as your slogan.
