Labour leader, Adewale Adeyanju felicitates ANLCA at 72
The Deputy President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Comrade (Prince) Dr. Adewale Adeyanju felicitates the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents as the foremost freight forwarding association clocks 72.
As the pioneer association in the clearing industry celebrates today in Nigeria, the NLC chieftain, Comrade Adeyanju has identified with ANCLA members as they celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the Association.
Adeyanju, who is a former President-General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) and current President of International Transport Federation (ITF) London has identified with ANCLA, saying that the clearing body has come a long way in the country, having navigated through thick and thin successfully for decades running and are still waxing very strong.
Prince Adeyanju noted with excitement, given ANCLA’s operational services to the nation, particularly in the maritime sector where the Maritime Workers’ Union and ANCLA have operated peacefully over decades without rancor but as partners in progress in the industry.
The Oyo Prince also gave kudos to the past documented Presidents of ANCLA Alhaji Olayiwola Shittu, Alhaji Sanni Kamba; and the current leadership of Sir Emenike Kingsley Nwokeji, who is also doing a great job in ANCLA’s leadership and administration.
The astute labour leader says the Nigerian clearing and forwarding sector as it is today would always recognize the roles ANCLA has always played towards the sanctity and orderliness of the industry it has pioneered.
However, Comrade Adeyanju applauded the leadership of ANCLA, saying that the association have endured the rough waters and today, ANCLA is a trademark in the clearing and forwarding industry in the country; while wishing the Association more better days ahead as they mark today and celebrate their success in the industry.
