EFCC Re-Arrests Suspect Outside Court Premises Over Alleged N3.4bn Fraud

In a dramatic turn of events, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has re-arrested a suspect outside a Lagos court premises over his alleged involvement in a N3.4 billion fraud.
The suspect, who was initially arrested and charged to court, was re-arrested by EFCC operatives as he was leaving the court premises.
According to sources, the suspect’s re-arrest was due to new evidence that emerged during the investigation, which linked him to the alleged fraud.
The EFCC had initially arraigned the suspect before a Lagos High Court, but he was granted bail. However, with the emergence of new evidence, the EFCC decided to re-arrest him.
The suspect is now facing additional charges related to the alleged fraud, and his re-arrest has sparked renewed interest in the case.
