Easter: MWUN reassures employers, govt agencies of continuous support for sector growth
The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has again assured the Maritme community of its continuous drive towards development of the sector through collaborations and humane regulations
The President General of MWUN, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju in an Easter message to the stakeholders and government agencies, gave the reassurance on Sunday.
Sunday Oniha, Deputy Secretary General, Training, Media, made this known to our correspondent in a short message.
The union helmsman added that MWUN would continue promote the well-being of its members and employers alike.
The statement reads, “Comrade (Prince) Adewale Adeyanju ANLI, The President General, Com, Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria wishes the government, people and all maritime stakeholders a very happy Easter celebration.
“We reassure all that we will continue to support growth in our sector while promoting the well-being of our members and employers alike.
“We extend our hand of fellowship to all and sundry and we especially appreciate NPA, NIMASA, STOAN, NIWA, NSC etc for constant collaboration and humane regulations.
“We also want to thank the federal ministry of transportation, federal ministry of labour and employment, the Nigeria labour Congress and all well meaning Nigerians.
“Happy easter,” he stated.
