Comptroller Jaiyeoba assumes duty at Oyo/Sound

Comptroller B. A  Jaiyeoba has taken over as the Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Oyo/Sound area command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NSC)
Comptroller Jaiyeoba took over the reigns of the command from Comptroller A. R. Abdulkadir
The baton exchange is in view of the recent reshufflement carried out by the management of the service.
In a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Assistant Superintendent of Customs (ASC) Kayode Wey, until his appointment, Compt. BA Jaiyeoba served in the office of the
Comptroller General of Customs at the Nigeria Customs Service Headquarters.
“During the handing over and taking over ceremony, that took place at the Customs
Area Controller’s office in Ibadan, Compt. AR Abdulkadir Bsc. MBA welcomed his
friend, brother and colleague, Compt. BA Jaiyeoba to the Command Headquarters
and congratulated him on his new appointment while thanking all officers and men of the Oyo/Osun Area Command for their doggedness and support during his
tenure. Compt. AR Abdulkadir Bsc. MBA prayed that the Almighty would continue
to guide the newly appointed Area Controller as he manages the affairs of the
Command.
“Compt. BA Jaiyeoba in his remarks thanked his friend and colleague while
commending him on various milestones achieved during his dispensation at the
Command.
“He promised to consolidate on his predecessors’ achievements as he
implored all officers and men of the Command including Headquarters staffs to
give him the much needed support and work together as a team in order to propel
the Command to higher heights. He warned officers and men of the Command
against fraternizing with smugglers stressing that it will not be tolerated,” the release stated.
