Comptroller Bamisaiye resumes at Western Marine, set to decimate waterways smuggling.

Comptroller PK Bamisaiye on Tuesday, resumed as the new Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Western Marine Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

This follows a minor reorganization of leadership of some Area Commands by the Management of Nigeria Customs Service.

In a brief handing over ceremony, the outgoings Controller, Comptroller O.A. Salefu lauded the officers and men of the command while he held sway as the helmsman for their cooperation during his time in office.

In a statement by Superintendent of Customs (SC) Malafiya Magaji, Public Relations Officer of the command, Comptroller Salefu charged the officers to extend dame hand of fellowship to the new Controller..

“He further stated that change in leadership and life is constant and inevitable, as his tenor comes to an end in Western Marine Command, he prayed that God Almighty continue to guide the new leadership.

On his part, the new Controller who has worked in various Customs formations of the NCS thanked the outgoings CAC and the Management team of the Service for the confidence reposed in him.

“Comptroller Bamisaiye who has worked in various Customs formations of Nigeria Customs Service Administration brings a rich operational expertise to his new position.

“Before his promotion to the rank of Comptroller and his present appointment, he served as Scanner Manager at PTML Area Command, and was also a Provost marshal Customs Police Unit at NCS headquarters Abuja.

“The New CAC while taking over the reins of Western Marine Command responded by thanking the outgoing CAC for the skillful way he led at the Command and wished him the best as he moves on to his new assignment, he concluded by thanking the Comptroller General and his management team for the faith reposed on him and promised to execute his responsibilities effectively and efficiently.”
