Federal government has approved reopening of additional four borders across Nigeria
This is contained in a circular sent to customs formations and signed by Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) EI&I, E. I. Edorhe, sighted by our correspondent.
Recall that in year 2020, the FG granted phased reopening of land borders including Seme, Mfum, Illela, among others.
The four additional borders include Idiroko border in (gun state, South West; Jibiya border post, Katsina,North West zone; Kamba border post, Kebbi state, North West and Ikom border state, Akwa Ibom, South South
“Consequently, all customs formations and JPBTs are to take note and ensure that proper manning takes place in compliance with extant operational guidelines.
“Above is forwarded for your information and compliance, please,” he said.
