TICT appoints Philip Ojo Head, Corporate Communications after nine years at SIFAX

Tincan Island Container Terminal (TICT) has appointed the former Deputy Manager, Corporate Communication of SIFAX Group, Philip Ojo as the new head of Corporate Communication, Strategies and Initiatives
Ojo, who spent nine year with SIFAX, in his new role, will spearhead both internal d external vommunications, brand management, CSR and sustainability, stakeholders engagement, advertising and social media management
The appointment is to solidify the status of TICT as the leading terminal operators in Nigeria and to position it for its next strategic level growth phase.
Ojo is a communications professional with a background in journalism and corporate communications. He began his career as a journalist with Daily Sun Newspaper before joining the corporate communications department of SIFAX Group in 2015 and rose to become a Deputy Manager in the department.
He is a graduate of Masters of Transport Planning and Logistics; B.Sc Mass Communication (Journalism) and B.A. History and International Relations from the Lagos State University
He is also an Associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and has attended various trainings at the School of Communications, Pan Atlantic University; Orange Academy; Wordslingers, Webloft Concepts, and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.
