Sallah: Merchant Navy president, Yousuo advocates dialogue as tool for industrial disputes resolution, salutes Muslims

The National President of the Nigeria Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) Chief Engineer Bob Joseph Yousuo, has called on Nigerians to embrace dialogue as the way to resolving industrial disputes.
He made the call in his Salah message to all muslim brothers and sisters in the struggle as well as the entire Nigerian workforce.
Com. (Elder) John Okpono Aleakhue, Secretary General, NMNOWTSSA made this known in a statement on Thursday.
Chief Yousuo who is a seasoned seafarer described Islam as a religion of peace and therefore called on everyone to embrace peace as the world celebrates the annual festival.
As a gesture of love, he also encouraged the Muslim faithful to celebrate within the ambit of the law, without causing harm to themselves nor their neighbours.
The unionist prayed that the joy that comes with Sallah continues to dwell in the maritime industry, seafarers’ and in every homes, In sha Allah.
The national President urged all muslims to remember the nation in their prayers as the best sacrifice for the country, Nigeria, and to pray against all antisocial vices.
His words, “Islam is a religion of peace; hence, he urges everyone to embrace peace as we celebrate Sallah.”
“He congratulates them and wishes them a celebration full of joy and happiness.’
