The Philippines has ratified the ILO Convention 190, which calls for the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work.
It is the first country in Asia to ratify the convention, with the steadfast lobbying of Trade Union formations, and Global Union Federations (GUFs).
The International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) expressed joy over the and workers in Philippines.
