…commends President over transportation ministry rumoured restructuring.

The Acting National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Dr. Collins Kayode Farinto has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over rumoured restructuring of the Ministry of Transportation.

Happy Diamond Age

As a result, the ANLCA helmsman pleaded with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to also assign core professionals both as a Minister and agencies head in the proposed new Ministry of Waterways and Marine Transportation as according to him, this will quickly aid the country in harnessing the full potentials of the Nigerian Blue Economy.

If news snippets going round is true, about the proposed restructuring of some Federal Ministries before the appointment of Ministers, then the maritime industry is in for a fresh impetus in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

As Nigerians awaits the appointment of Ministers and assigning of portfolios to them by President Ahmed Tinubu, there are indications that some of the Federal Ministries have either been merged, restructured or separated to carry out it’s core functions effectively and efficiently.

It could be recalled that the Acting National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents ANLCA), Dr Farinto Collins Kayode has been in the forefront of clamoring for the new government to Balcanize the Federal Ministry of Transportation into the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, arguing that the ministry is too big, as such cannot achieve much, especially in harnessing the full potentials of the Nigerian maritime industry.
