NSCDC boss vows to sanitize Oyo State of unregistered LPG marketers
Association seeks synergy with security outfit.

The Nigeria Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLPGA), Oyo State branch has commended the State command of NSCDC for protecting and supporting the activities of the association.
The Chairman, Mr Olaloye Israel made the commendations on Wednesday during a courtesy visit to the NSCDC command headquarter in Ibadan even as he solicited for more cordial relationship between the duo.
CDPRO, Oyindamola Okuneye stated this in a release.
In the release, the Chairman applauded the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive Unit (CBRNE) of the command for the excellent cooperation with the association so far.
The Chairman of the association however reiterated that the retailers establishing gas plants within residential areas are not registered members of the association in the state.
He said, “With the support of your agency we can get them removed from the system.”
In his response, Commandant Michael Adaralewa stated that the safety of the citizens of the State is paramount making it known that the command would work with the association to sanitize the state of unregistered members who operate in residential areas.
He warned the association members to desist from illegal activities for unforseen circumstances like fire outbreak.
The Corps Commandant said that the command would not hesitate to take necessary measures against any one found in the act.
He assured the association of the Command’s readiness to give the group necessary backup whenever the association calls for support.
