Students and pupils of Power & Glory School, Ejigbo, have been urged to embrace excellence, integrity, hardwork, good character and knowledge in their quest for sound education.

The Proprietor, Mr Ezekiel Onilude made the call during the 2022/2023 Annual Graduation/Valedictory Service of Power & Glory School, Ejigbo, Lagos.

He admonished the students to adopt and embrace a lifestyle of hardwork as a way of life if they want to make anything out of life.

His words, “The formation of your character begins here in this school and you were groomed to be dedicated, focused, committed and disciplined because youthful age is full of distraction. So, prepare yourselves to go and overcome your world,” he submitted.

Mr Onilude appreciated the parents, teachers for their contributions towards the sustenance and growth of the children.

In his welcome address, the Principal of the school, Mr Adam Tijani tasked the outgoing students to use the training and knowledge acquired while in school to become agents of positive change and shinning lights.

“As you go into the world, continue to uphold the values of compassion, integrity and empathy. Be the agent of positive change and let your light shine bright, illuminating the path for others to follow. Your hardwork, determination and countless hours of study have brought you to this moment of glory.

“Today,as we honor our exceptional students and pupils with prize and accolades, we will also celebrate the spirit of healthy competition and the pursuit of excellence. Remember that the true essence of education lies not merely in the pursuit of grades but in the development of character and a thirst for knowledge,” he admonished.

Speaking further, the principal enumerated the various achievements of the school in academics, sports, among others while thanking the Proprietor and Parents/Teachers Association for their supports.

Highlights of the event were speeches, songs presentation, choreography, and cultural display. Meanwhile several students who were outstanding in various subjects and conducts won various gift items
