Merchant Navy felicitates MWUN leadership over successful completion of branch elections
The National president of the Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) has congratulated the leadership of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) over the successful conduct of the branch elections
The National President of the union, Chief Engineer Bob Joseph Yousuo, in a statement, congratulated the President General of MWUN, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi on the rancour free branch elections
The number one Africa Seafarer stated that the election was the first of its kind in the history of the union that someone from the NIWA/Seamen branch is holding the position of the PG.
He submitted that NMNOWTSSA would collaborate with the junior cadre union for the growth of the industry as well as for the welfare development of Seafarers.
He also congratulated all the newly elected presidents and officers of the branches even as he wished them successful tenure
He urged them to them to imbibe in the spirit of team work.
