Yuletide: Ada King Foundation supports less privileged with food, other items in Lagos.

Over 150 indigent men and women, widows in Lagos State, at the weekend, received food and other household items from Ada King international Foundation in the spirit of the festive season.
Some of the items distributed include 5kg of rice, vegetable oil, salt, packets of maggi, tomatoes pastes, indomie and spaghetti, thus fulfilling its core mandate of providing succour to the less privileged in the society.
The Executive Director/founder, Ada King international Foundation Mrs. Adaeze Blessed Emeka said the foundation was borne out of the need to ensure that the less privilege, widows and those who have nothing to eat have cause to celebrate and access resources to merry during the festive season.
According to her, the essence of establishing the foundation is to assist the less privilege in the society, stating that the passion to give was learnt from her late parents who always touch lives when they were still alive.
“I am happy and excited whenever l put smile on the face of people, knowing fully well that l am continuing the legacy that my late parents especially my dad was doing before he died. We started this foundation three years ago and ever since then,God has been helping us in ensuring that we put smiles on people’s face.
“Ada King lnternational Foundation will continue to work for the welfare of people in need, as everyone deserves to live with dignity and respect and we will continue to strive to enhance and complement the efforts of government and other private institutions in seeking ways to assist the less privileged.”
Mrs Adaeze Emeka appealed to Nigerians to use the opportunity of the season to support the less privileged, adding that this is the reason for the season as established by the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Project Coordinator,Mr Asah Happy Umar commended the Founder Adaeze Blessed for her doggedness and passion in helping those in need especially the less privilege and widows.
He went further to state that the foundation which is non political has empowered and supported so many widows in small scale business,thereby giving succour to many, while appealing to government agencies to always see the need to assist the less privilege this season.
Mr Nnamdi Odili said the foundation is created for the purpose of touching lives, assisting and supporting the less privilege.
He said that the founder and other members of the foundation deem it fit to ameliorate the sufferings of the people by giving back to the society with what God has blessed them with.
Pastor Goodluck of Dominion city Iyana Oba, congratulated the founder for her zeal in helping the needy, noting that inspite of the economic situation of the country she deem it fit to touch lives, while urging her not to relent in assisting the less privilege.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with newsmen,Mrs Helen Anyamesi and Mrs Biodun Adeleye showered prayers to the founder for keeping the spirit alive this three years, stating that God will continue to bless and keep her including members of her family for her kind gesture.
Highlight of the event was presentation of food items,cash to the beneficiaries present.
