KLT Customs seeks deeper collaboration with Maritime police for traffic management, security

The Customs Area Controller of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT), Comptroller E. J. Edeidouk on Wednesday, paid a working visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) , Maritime, AIG Yusuf Garba seeking deeper collaboration for improved traffic clearance at the command
The Controller who visited the AIG in company of his management team, while welcoming the olive boss to his position, appreciated the efforts of the command in clearing the enigmatic traffic hindering free flow of traffic at the command.
In a message by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), ASP Okoi. Arikpo, the KLT Controller also.appreciated the AIG for his intensified efforts at maintaining the security at the command
According to the message, she sought for more efforts at total eradication of traffic at the command
The AIG welcomed her and her management team and assured her of continued collaboration and synergy between the two commands
He congratulated the Controller and also wished them well in the line of their duties.
Recall. That the AIG in his inaugural address in January, vowed to rid the maritime industry of criminal elements as well as enhance its contributions to the nation’s economy.
He also frowned at unprofessionalism among the officers and men of the police force.
