Foundation trains over 30 young men, women on different skill acquisitions in Ejigbo.
...targets eradicating poverty among youth

In a frantic effort to impact lives and eradicate poverty among the young generations, Blessed Gumpant Foundation has trained young men and women in different skills acquisition in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State
The venture was also aimed at giving a meaningful pattern of life to the beneficiaries.
The skill acquisition program which centres on make-up, head tie, catering, bead making and hat making, saw over 30 young men and women graduating after six weeks of intensive training at Ejigbo town hall.
Speaking at the event, the convener, Rev (Mrs) Prisca Timpaul stated that for the past years, the foundation has been in existence as it has been rendering vocational services, while reiterating the place of the foundation in impacting lives.
She added that the foundation provided free training for all participants and ensured that the beneficiaries were established.
Her words, “We have so far been rendering services as we have trained over 600 men and women due to the fact that most of them are vulnerable in the society.
“We came into Ejigbo and discovered that they were struggling to eat three square meals a day, we decided to make an impact here in Ejigbo by coming up with various skill acquisitions and we are happy to announce to you that we are graduating over 30 young ones ” she stated.
Rev Mrs Timpaul while congratulating the graduands, advised them not to see the benefit of acquiring skills as for their growth and development alone, but also see it as an awareness and opportunity of training others.
She enthused that the several skills acquired, will help to build and develop the beneficiaries which is the whole idea of the training,
She therefore, appealed to the local government to support the foundation so that more young men and women can be equipped.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to newsmen, thanked the organisers for the opportunity given to them so as to acquire various skills.
Highlight of the event was the display of various works done by the graduands.
