The leader of igbos in Aigbakaarea of Ejigbo in Lagos, Eze (Amb) Nicholas Emenike Njoku has congratulated the Oba Mooruf Adekunle Adisa Ojoola, the Ojon of Ejigbo on his 25 years on the throne as Oba of Ejigbo Lagos, describing him as a patriotic statesman.

Congratulating the monarch at an event marking his 25th anniversary, Eze Njoku thanked God for the gift of the king to humanity, stating that the paramount ruler belonged to the class of those who not only attained great height but lived to be widely celebrated.

He therefore describe the monarch as one who has immensely supported cultural agenda in Lagos State and committed to the promotion of the rich narrative culture of the yoruba community.

“It is a with a sense of pride and admiration that I sought to share in the joy of this anniversary because Oba Mooruf Adisa is a man who has continually made unbiased and objective contribution to local and state discourse, his giant strides on the throne are worthy of commendation and emulation and for this reason the lgbo community has decided to felicitates with him on this day “he stated.

The monarch who is an Ambassador with the United Nations restated the commitment of the Igbo Speaking Community to a robust partnership with the yoruba community for a benefit of the people of Ejigbo, while praying to God almighty to grant Oba Mooruf Adisa good health and protection as he celebrates many more fruitful years on the throne.

Lending his voice, Chief Engr. Imah Richard noted that the Oba of Ejigbo has always inspire to ensure that the unity of the yoruba community and that of other ethnic groups especially the Igbo Speaking Community is key to development.

He described the monarch as a staunch advocate of peace, and one who has the people interest at heart.
