In its continued quest to equipping staff with requisite skill for effective operations at their various departments, the Nigerian Shippers’ Council organised a comprehensive training program for its staff on the adoption and implementation of the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS)
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Maritime Economic Regulatory agency, the training was aimed at instilling technical skills required to effectively operate the system, streamline document management, and improve workflow.
“This will help to boost operational efficiency thereby, reduce administrative bottlenecks and enhance overall productivity.
“The training will also enable staff to provide timely access to information, thereby strengthening service delivery to stakeholders.
“Speaking during the exercise, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of NSC, Dr. Akutah Pius, MON, urged staff to embrace the new initiative and leverage the Council’s digitization drive to improve efficiency in service delivery.
“He stressed the importance of adaptability, noting that the success of the system depends on how quickly staff integrate it into their daily operations.
“With this investment in capacity building, the Council is positioning itself to achieve greater efficiency, transparency, and innovation in its operations, key drivers of its long-term vision for organizational growth, and improved service delivery.”
