The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Nigeria is set to organise a 4-week Executive Masters class in logistics and supply chain management.

The program slated for four weekends, is expected to hold between May 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th 2024.

The Advanced Executive Management class is billed to have in attendance, Chief Executive Officers from the various transport sectors as well as senior officials from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) from both federal and states in logistics supply chain sub sector.

Private sector players like students and workers from various industries with knack for transport are also part of the capacity building programme put together by the institute.

During a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railways Corporation (NRC), Mr Fidet Okhira, Chairman, CILT Nigeria, Lagos Branch, Mallam, Bashir Ambi stated that the Executives Management class is designed for decision makers as well as students.

While soliciting the participation of the NRC boss, Ambi said, “We request the Management of the NRC to participate at the CILT. Nigeria Executive Masters Class, meant to upscale the skills of decision makers in the Transport & Supply Chain Management.

“We request the Management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) to assist the branch in our quest of disseminating knowledge via training and. awareness of Stakeholders, Tertiary Institutions offering Transport and Logistics Courses and Secondary Schools in the State in order to catch Them young in terms of the Profession.CILT Nigeria has continued to build capacity in the transport and supply chain and logistics management for decades
