The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Maritime Police Command, FHQ Annex, Obalende, Lagos, AIG Musa Yusuf Garba extends heartfelt greetings to all dockworkers, seafarers, port staff, and stakeholders in Nigeria’s maritime industry on the occasion of International Workers’ Day.

In a press release by ASP Adebayo Rasheed, Police Public Relations Officer, Maritime Police Command, the AIG maintained that the maritime sector remains the lifeblood of the nation’s commerce, and the daily sacrifices made at the ports and along our waterways form the very backbone of national development.

 

“The unwavering commitment of maritime workers often rendered under challenging conditions is not only commendable but vital to sustaining Nigeria’s strategic position in global trade.
