Abuja MoU Signs Data-Sharing Agreement with IMO

The Abuja Memorandum of Understanding (Abuja MoU) has signed a Data-Sharing Agreement with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
On the Facebook page of Abuja MoU, the organisation stated that the agreement was signed at the ongoing III-11 session in London.
According to the information shared on the Facebook page, the signed agreement would set the stage for improved collaboration and seamless exchange of port State control data among regional MoUs.
It further stated that the agreement was signed with alongside Tokyo MoU and Indian Ocean MoU.
According to the information, the Abuja MoU maintained that more MoUs are expected to be signed in the coming months.
Full text of the Facebook post, “We are pleased to announce that Abuja MoU has signed a data-sharing agreement with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) during the ongoing III-11 session in London.
“This landmark agreement, signed alongside Tokyo MoU and Indian Ocean MoU, sets the stage for improved collaboration and seamless exchange of port State control data among regional MoUs. More MoUs are expected to follow suit in the coming months.
