AIG Maritime expresses resolve to removing obstacles hindering ease of doing business.

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), Maritime Police Command, AIG Olofu A. Rhoda has reiterated the willingness of the command to fully support the activities of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA).
ASP Ehinmode, A. Rowland Ag. Police Public Relations Officer of the command stated in a release that the AIG stated this while delivering her goodwill message at the inauguration of the National Executive Committee of the Association, held on Thursday 23rd November, 2023 at the Marcellina Place, Ikeja, Lagos.
The AIG congratulated the newly elected members of the Executive for being found worthy to serve in their respective capacities after about five years of serious debacles.
She advised them to strive for unity, respect the rule of law and be tolerant while making bold her stand and support for them.
Furthermore, the AIG assured the Association and other stakeholders in the maritime domain of her zeal to deepens the existing cordial relationship by working towards removing all perceived obstacles hindering the ease of doing business in strict compliance with the Federal Government directives which was effectively disseminated down by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode A. Egbetokun, psc, NPM, Ph.D.
AIG Olofu concluded by imploring ANLCA members to be lawful in all their dealings and always bring to her notice anything untoward so as to remedy such without delay.
Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion are Dr Dakuku Peterside, former DG NIMASA and chairman of the occasion, Comptroller General of Customs, CG Bashir Adewale Adeniyi represented by Assistant Comptroller General of Customs, Zone A Command, Lagos, representative of the Commissioner of Police Lagos State, ACP Idowu olanrewaju, Barrister (Dr) Hassan Bello, former Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Shippers’ Council who was the keynote speaker at the event, Customs Area Comptroller, Tincan Area Command, Comptroller DA Nnadi, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adesegun Ajasa, the Onigbongbo of Ikeja amongst many others.
