As children all over the world celebrates international children’s day, the Lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo ll State Constituency in Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Jude Emeka ldimogu has called on the children to exhibit the habit of living in peace and unity among each other.
He stated this during his children’s day celebration message to the children, stating that irrespective of their ethnic background,they should see themselves as one Nigeria and leaders of tomorrow.
Hon ldimogu noted that despite the challenges and hiccups the country is facing, Nigeria will be great again as a renewed hope has come to give the children especially the less privilege ones that needed hope of achieving their desired dreams and aspiration of becoming great in life.
“On this joyous occasion of the 2023 international children’s day, l wish to use this auspicious occasion to celebrate all the children in Lagos State especially Oshodi/Isolo ll. A day that is dedicated to recognizing the unique talents , dreams and the vibrant spirit that brings much happiness to all of you, it is no gainsaying when we say children are the light of the world, you are the future we nuture and the greatness we desire after hardwork.”
“For this reason,I implore you all to learn how to live in peace and unity, see other children as your brothers and sisters, stop discrimination, despite our ethnic background we are one Nigerians. Let us foster an environment where innovation, curiosity and compassion lives ” he stated.”
The Chairman House Committee on Wealth Creation and Employment, assured the children that the incoming administration of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu will bring a renewed hope and joy, making their dreams take flight, carrying them to greater heights unimaginable.
While urging them to shun social vices such as alcoholism, drugs and other evil vices that will jeopardize their future, imploring the parents to uphold the task of parenthood with utmost importance as it is what we teach our children today they become tomorrow.
