Women Empowerment: Dantsoho.of NPA to headline female talent pool initiative
The Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho will headline the Female Talent Pool Initiative — a strategic drive to identify, attract, nurture and empower women across Nigeria’s maritime sector.
On the panel would be the Executive Director, F&A @theofficialvre, Mrs. Kenechi Edith Okezie, Port Manager of Rivers Ports Complex, as they highlight the benefits of gender-balance in the maritime industry and inspire budding female talents to reach to their full potential.
Abimbola Ini-Abasi, a leading women’s empowerment advocate, will set the tone with data-driven insights and actionable steps. Halimatu Abdul, Toke Makinwa will contribute to the discussion while Ayo Mairo-Ese will moderate the session.
It is a bold institutional commitment by the Nigerian Ports Authority to close the gender gap and reshape the maritime sector by elevating women’s voices at the highest levels and building tomorrow’s leadership.
