SSASCGOC Maritime salutes NPA management, staff on Christmas; promises better welfare for workers in 2026  

The Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies SSASCGOC Maritime Branch has saluted the management and staff of the Nigerian Ports Authority on this year’s celebration of Christmas.

In a Christmas message signed by the President, Comrade Akinola Bodunde on Wednesday, the union appreciated the management of the Authority led by Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho and the executive management for their commitment to welfare of the workers

He also appreciated members of the union and all the staff for their commitment and dedication to duty leading to economic gains for the government.

He quipped that the efforts of the workers are yielding positive economic gains for the nation hence they deserve better welfare as the union would not relent on its oars to fight for them.

He used the occasion to call on well meaning Nigerians to use the season to reflect on the state of the country and embrace positive attitude and character to the good of the country.

The union leader called on the workers and Nigerians in general to emulate the characters of Jesus Christ whose birth is being celebrated in their workplaces and the society at large for a better Nigeria.

The SSASCGOC, Maritime Branch boss told the government that the welfare of the workers must be considered to match the reality of the country’s economy.
