The Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SSASCGOC) Maritime Branch has felicitated with Muslims faithfuls in the maritime industry.
Speaking, the President, Comrade Akinola Bodunde stressed that the festival is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity, saying that the union joined numerous stakeholders in celebrating the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and renewed faith.
According to him, Muslim brothers in the organization are deeply appreciated for their contributions to the nation economy.
He said: “As the joyous occasion of Sallah unfolds across the globe, it is with profound respect and heartfelt that the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SSASCGOC) Maritime Branch extends our sincerest greetings to all our Muslim brothers within the NPA family and to our valued stakeholders.
“On behalf of the entire membership of SSASCGOC Maritime Branch, we wish everyone of you a blessed and peaceful Eid al-Adha.
“Sallah is not only a religious festival but also a reminder of the virtues of patience, humility, and generosity. As we commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command, may we also be inspired to demonstrate selflessness and dedication in our personal and professional lives.
“To our Muslim brothers in the Nigerian Ports Authority, your unwavering commitment and contributions continue to strengthen the maritime sector and the nation’s economy. We recognize your hard work and pray that this Sallah brings you abundant blessings, good health, and prosperity.
“We also extend our warmest regards to our stakeholders, whose partnership and support are vital to our collective success. May this festive season deepen our bonds and foster even greater collaboration and mutual respect.
Special appreciation goes to the Managing Director and the Executive Management team for their determination in ensuring industrial harmony in the Port locations and commitment towards welfare of our members. We pray that the spirit of Sallah renews your strength and wisdom as you guide us forward.
