Western port police command assures stakeholders of adequate security during Sallah

The Ports Authority Police (Western) Command has assured members of the public, port users, maritime stakeholders, and the Muslim faithfuls of adequate security arrangements put in place ahead of the upcoming Sallah celebration.
In view of the anticipated increase in human and vehicular activities during the festive period, the Command has deployed sufficient personnel and enhanced its operational strategies to ensure the safety and security of lives, property, and critical infrastructure within and around the port environment.
ASP Isaac Hundeyin, Police Public Relations Officer, Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, Apapa, Lagos, stated this in a press statement made available to Monarchs News
The Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola psc(+),mnips, has reaffirmed the Command’s readiness to maintain law and order throughout the celebration as patrols have been intensified, security presence heightened at strategic locations, and necessary intelligence mechanisms activated to forestall any security breach.
The Command also urges the general public to remain law-abiding, be vigilant, and promptly report any suspicious movement or incident to the nearest police station.
The Port Police Command extends its warmest greetings to all Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir and wishes everyone a safe and joyous celebration.
