Kwara State Commissioner for Communication, Hon. Bunmi Olukoju has lauded the efforts of the state’s command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in combatting crimes and ensuring the safety of the residents.
Hon. Olukoju gave the commendation on Monday, 27th November, 2023 during her visit to the state command headquarters in Ilorin.

She stressed the critical role of strategic communication initiatives, public awareness campaigns and efficient information exchange protocols in further fortifying security measures.
While emphasizing the pivotal role effective communication plays, she disclosed the ministry’s readiness to work closely with the corps in creating a safer and more secured environment for the people of Kwara State.
In his response, the State Commandant, Commandant Umar J.G Mohammed, assured Hon. Olukoju of the corps unwavering commitment to upholding law and order.
He stressed the importance of collaborative measures between NSCDC and the Communication sector to comprehensively address emerging security challenges.
